I
look for eyes that sparkle, for hearts abounding in joyousness and love.
I look for smiling, upturned faces waiting on the presence all the day.
I look for those who listen with intent to hear the word of goodwill and
then run to do that word, to be that will, to prove the law as love in
action, in service, and in service, and in service.

All Healing Massage
is Elegant Touch creating trust, warmth, peace, empathy and respect.
A sacred act performed to honour the body, which is a sacred temple. It
is a rewarding journey taking you on a voyage of discovery, change, innovation
and rejuvenation, eliminating dis-ease. An act of celebration in which
the experience of the giver is just as important as the experience of
the receiver through the gift of sacred healing touch.
I combine my knowledge and experience to give you a wholesome
all embracing treatment in the practical 1:1 sessions. You choose how
you want to feel after the session and I do the rest. You may decide you
want to feel energised, centred, free, peaceful, relaxed, open, lighter,
happier, hopeful or better than you feel at the moment. The choice is
yours. I will turn the negative feeling into a positive feeling, thus
creating a more positive and empowering feeling in your mind, body and
spirit.
THE BODY SYSTEMS
Massage is truly amazing as it affects the body systems (i.e. immune,
lymphatic, nervous, cardiovascular, muscular, endocrine, respiratory,
digestive, reproductive, urinary and skeletal). Each body system works
as a separate entity and is also dependent on the others for physical
and biochemical support, a true functioning co-operative.
The SKELETAL SYSTEM is the framework on which the rest of the body
is built. The main mineral stored in the bones is calcium; others include
phosphorus, magnesium and salts. Bones offer protection to the internal
organs. The marrow in bone is where the red blood cells and some white
blood cells are produced.
The MUSCULAR SYSTEM is made up of half the body's bulk and works
with the skeletal system to generate the energy to move, make precise
and intricate hand movements, lift object, make facial expressions and
even speak. Muscles are dependent on a healthy nerve and blood supply
and provide the power for the respiratory, cardiovascular and digestive
system.
The CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM pumps blood around the body and is nearly
90,000 miles long! On average blood completes a full circuit around the
body in approximately one minute. All body organs and tissues need a supply
of oxygenated blood and the removal of waste products.
The NERVOUS SYSTEM consists of the brain, spinal cord and nerve
branches. The brain covers consciousness and creativity and controls all
body movements. The body and brain are alive with billions of electrical
and chemical signals made by the nerve cells {neurons}. These signals
are unconscious and keep the body safe and functioning properly. This
system works with the endocrine glands to monitor and maintain other systems.
The ENDOCRINE SYSTEM cover the hormones secreted by the endocrine
glands and other organs which circulate in the blood and other body fluids
helping the body to maintain an optical internal environment and initiates
body changes that take place at puberty, during ageing and menopause.
The IMMUNE SYSTEM is the body's security force, protecting the
body against invasion from outside and subversion from within. It protects
the body against infectious diseases and internal malfunctions. It protects
the body from viruses, bacteria and chemicals in the air we breathe into
our body. Poor general health lowers the body's resistance. The LYMPHATIC
SYSTEM helps combat infections, virus infections and tumour cells
e.g. cancer.
The RESPIRATORY SYSTEM helps us to breathe as it carries air in
and out of the lungs, where gases are exchanged [i.e. supplying vital
oxygen and removing waste carbon dioxide]. The Cardiovascular System transports
these gases to and from all body tissues, supplying vital oxygen and removing
carbon dioxide, a waste product of the body processes.
The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM is 30ft of tubing from the mouth to the anus.
Its task is the physical and chemical breakdown of food. It stores food,
digests its, makes use of nutrients and eliminates wastes. A healthy digestive
system depends on the proper functioning of the Immune and Nervous System.
The REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM is the body's biological centrepiece. It
is the only system that can be removed without threatening a person's
life and functions only for a part of the human life span.
The
URINARY SYSTEM is mainly made up of the kidneys and bladder. The
kidney forms urine, which is eliminated via the bladder. It eliminates
waste and helps to maintain the body's chemical balance. Production of
urine is influenced by blood flow, blood pressure, hormones, even sleep
and waking!

"I
recommend spending time with Toks. Beyond being a skilled therapist, she
possesses a natural wisdom and compassion. Her insight is pure. She gives
a positive transformation infused with light and love.
