Collin's English Dictionary defines 'ease' as 'freedom
from discomfort, worry or anxiety
..rest, leisure or relaxation
.to
make comfortable'. The word dis-ease means not being at ease. If you
are not at ease you are uncomfortable. So dis-ease DOES NOT mean having
a disease.
All sickness is dis-ease. Dis-ease is the manifestation
of any imbalance on a spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, behavioural
and working level in the human being. Feelings of stress, tension, anxiety,
insecurity, depression, grief, sorrow, despair, loneliness, fear, guilt,
anger, violence, rage, betrayal or hatred are all forms of dis-ease.
Spiritual Dis-ease: fear, death, loss, grieving, unresolved grief,
panic attacks, guilt, insecure, phobias, nightmares, curses, attachments,
addictions (drugs, smoking, drinking, sex), negative ties/cords that bind
to unhealthy relationships, low resistance to infection, spiritual violence,
trauma, shocking events.
Mental Dis-ease: confusion, headaches, dizziness, insomnia, sleep
disturbance, forgetfulness, verbal abuse, abusive patterns, feeling stuck,
lost, irritable, cluttered mind, poor judgement, low concentration, memory
loss, desperation, futility, terror, lack of self worth, holding on, mental
violence, unable to make decisions, conflicts of interest, victim mentality.
Physical Dis-ease: back problems, reduced immunity, feeling tired,
chronic fatigue, tight muscles, boils, swellings, pain, physical violence,
digestive problems, constipation, diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome,
loss of appetite, over eating, palpitations, ulcers, operations, cancer,
high blood pressure, heart diseases, hair loss, poor skin, rashes, low
sex drive, stress related infertility and impotence, cancer, ME.
Emotional / Psychological Dis-ease: depression, trauma, anxiety,
anger, tearful, loneliness, suicidal, mood swings, unstable, abandonment,
unsuitable jobs / relationships, emotional violence, jealousy, envy, hatred,
obsessions, low life force, feeling trapped, frustrated, betrayed, let
down, emotional violence, unable to care, unable to feel.
Work Dis-ease: absenteeism, lack of feedback, feeling unappreciated,
unhealthy competition, low self esteem, unable to meet deadlines or to
cope with workload, no future, feeling stuck or trapped, job change, home
relocation, no support. No clearly defined strategy purpose or mission
statement. Unbearable tension and stress caused by aggression, abuse,
bullying, discrimination, harassment or hostility. Lack of focus, inspiration,
creativity or self-esteem. Fear of ageing, threat of redundancy, unstable
job security. Fear of learning new skills and training required.
According to the Health and Safety Commission 1999 stress
is the reaction people have to excessive pressures and other types of
demand placed upon them and arises when they worry that they can't cope.
Today employers need to identify causes of stress within the workplace
and take measures to prevent ill health. A degree of stress can be regarded
as healthy, normal and positive. However continuous, excessive and unrelenting
stress that makes a person feel unable to cope or feel they are lacking
in support is unhealthy and negative and can eventually lead to burnout.
There is no simple way of predicting what will cause harmful
levels of stress (dis-ease) as people respond to different types of pressure
in different ways. Sometimes orthodox medicine is not enough to deal with
these problems. This is where complementary medicine steps in working
to enhance the natural healing process needed to heal the whole person
rather than a specific problem. Using the power of healing, laughter and
touch Toks offers her wholesome service to help balance a person spiritually,
mentally, physically and emotionally.

OLD BUDDHIST STORY
Here is a very old healing Buddhist story narrated in the
Nirvana Sutra, which mentions a MOON MEDITATION!
A king who was wicked by nature killed his father.
Later in a fit of remorse he developed a high fever with foul and
evil-smelling boils; which broke out over his entire body, repelling
all whom came to him. His mother tried everything to cure him but
whatever she did only made the boils get worse.
The king explained to his mother that the boils
had a spiritual cause and did not arise from a disharmony of
the four elements and that therefore ordinary physicians could
not cure them.
The World-Honoured One, the compassionate and merciful
teacher, entered into a special MOON-LOVING meditation, for the
king's sake. When he had reached the deepest state of his meditation,
a brilliant ray of light shone forth from the Buddha and fell upon
the body of the king. In that instant the boils were healed.

"Thank
you would not be enough to express how grateful I am for all your help
and support. The past couple of months have been devastating for me and
knowing you were there giving us all comfort is very special to me. You
know that you will always be part of our family.
Rosy Khalastchy, Property Consultant
"When I beheld your shining face glittering,
shimmering, sparkling, I thought the jade stars had fallen from the sky
and found their home in your eyes ...and when I saw your bright smile
I thought the dew-drops had jumped from the ground, to live again, in
your mouth made of pearls... sparkling, glittering, shimmering, shinning.
